Welcome to Active Test and Tag Solutions. By using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Scope of Services

‍

2.1 Active Test and Tag Solutions agrees to provide testing and tagging services in accordance with AS/NZS 3760:2022 and other applicable industry standards.

‍

2.2 The Client agrees to provide full access to all equipment requiring testing and ensure a safe working environment.

‍

2.3 Services may include:

• Electrical safety inspections and testing
• Tagging of tested equipment
• Reporting on compliance status
• Recommendations for remediation
• Switchboard inspections and maintenance
• Residual-Current Device (RCD) testing
• Thermal imaging for electrical safety assessments
• Portable fire equipment checks and compliance assessments

3. Use of Subcontractors

‍

3.1 Active Test and Tag Solutions may engage subcontractors to perform some or all of the Services.

‍

3.2 Subcontractors are required to adhere to all privacy, safety, and compliance obligations under these Terms and applicable laws.

‍

3.3 The Client acknowledges and agrees that Services performed by subcontractors are subject to the same guarantees and warranties provided by Active Test and Tag Solutions.

‍

4. Client Responsibilities

‍

4.1 The Client must ensure access to all equipment that requires testing.

‍

4.2 The Client acknowledges that when Active Test and Tag Solutions carries out testing services, equipment will become disconnected from the power source and the Client shall be solely responsible in ensuring there is no loss of data or damage to the equipment.

‍

4.3 Active Test and Tag Solutions are not responsible for any delays caused by restricted access or unavailable equipment.

‍

4.4 If an item of equipment does not pass testing and has a ‘fail’ test status, an ‘out of service tag’ will be attached to that item and the Client must remove the item from service immediately. The item must not be placed back into service until it is repaired by an authorised and suitably qualified person.

5. Pricing and Payment

‍

5.1 Quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

‍

5.2 The Client must pay all invoices within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.

‍

5.3 Late payments may incur additional fees or interest charges.

‍

5.4 Any additional services outside the agreed scope will be charged at the prevailing rates.

‍

5.5 All prices are exclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.

‍

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

‍

6.1 The Client must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a booking. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.

‍

6.2 If Active Test and Tag Solutions must cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be notified as soon as possible, and an alternative date will be arranged.

‍

7. Warranty and Limitations of Liability

‍

7.1 Active Test and Tag Solutions warrants that all services will be performed with due care and skill, in accordance with applicable laws and industry standards.

‍

7.2 The Client acknowledges that our testing services indicate the condition of the equipment at the time of testing. Testing and tagging do not guarantee future equipment safety; ongoing compliance remains the responsibility of the client.

‍

7.3 Active Test and Tag Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

‍

7.4 Any claims for defects or disputes regarding the services must be reported in writing within 7 days of completion.

‍

8. Compliance with Laws

‍

8.1 All Services will be performed in compliance with applicable Queensland and Australian legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and standards.

‍

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

‍

9.1 Personal and business data collected during the provision of Services will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

‍

9.2 Client information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or necessary for service delivery.

‍

10. Amendments

‍

10.1 Active Test and Tag Solutions reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions as required. Changes will be published on our website, and continued engagement of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
